Power Star is just back from abroad shooting for his film Puli, and now the film is being canned in and around Hyderabad. Buzz is that the film will be completed by this month end. Another film of the star has already been officially announced.
Comedian Ganesh Babu, who produced Anjaneyulu very recently with Ravi Teja, is producing his new film under the banner Parameshwari Arts and Harish Shankar is the director of the film. Brandished as a romantic -cum- action entertainer, the film will star two popular actresses alongside Pawan.
In a press release, producer Ganesh Babu said, "A young musician who lent music to one of Pawan Kalyan's recent films will be the music director for this film. A well-known stuntmaster will be seen sharing screen space with the actor. Technically a high-grade film, this one will stand out in Pawan's career, for sure."
The film is presented by Bade Ravi, a close aide of the Power Star. The film's shoot, commencing in December, run at a stretch in January and February when major portions of the fim will be shot. Harish Shankar is alson lending the story and screenplay.
“Ghajini” producers Allu Arvind and Madhu Mantena are going to make a Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster “Magadheera” and they are reportedly considering Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan to play the main leads.
“Yes Allu Arvind and I are remaking ‘Magadheera’ in Hindi. As for the cast, it’s too early to talk about it. But ‘Magadheera’ is definitely being planned to be bigger than ‘Ghajini’,” Mantena told IANS.
Released in July this year, “Magadheera” has already grossed over Rs.65 crore in India alone and is said to be the second-biggest Telugu hit after “Ghajini”.
With this Telugu remake into Hindi that is expected to take off early next year, Arvind and Mantena hope to raise the bar for action-drama cinema in Hindi once again.
The remake, to be budgeted at Rs.70 crore, is highly ambitious. While in the original, which is set in 17th century and present, the hero Ram Charan Teja plays a double role, the remake will split the hero’s personality into two parts. Apparently Hrithik will play the samurai from the Middle Ages while Aamir will play Share Khan Role.
However, now producer Allu Arjun of Geetha Arts has decided to remake the film in Hindi with Hrithik Roshan in lead role. Allu Arjun has recently produced Aamir Khan starrer “Ghajini’ that topped the charts with abundant collections of Rs. 200 Crores within 2 weeks. Much impressed with Hrithik Roshan’s screen presence in “Jodha Akbar’, he has been opted to perform lead role.
“Magadheera’ features Superstar Cheeranjivi’s son Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles
